Why?

JUST SOME of the reasons why it is essential for you to make a Will.

1. You decide to whom your assets should be given.

2. If there is no Will the law dictates who gets what and that may well be entirely contrary to what you would want.

3. Without a Will there is no guarantee that your wife, husband or partner will get the home you were living in together.

4. Sometimes the absence of a Will can mean that all your money will be taken by the state.

5. In some cases a properly prepared Will can reduce or even extinguish the state's claim for inheritance tax.

6. Sometimes on the death of a business partner, the business may have to be sold unless proper provision has been made.

AND REMEMBER: Don't try drawing up the Will yourself. There are too many uncertainties if it is not properly prepared and it will be too late then for anyone to ask "What did you mean by...........?"

MEMBER ORGANISATIONS

Blythswood Care SC021848 combines the Christian message with practical help for those in need at home and abroad, regardless of their political or religious beliefs or ethnic origins. We have been working in India since 2004 supporting projects working with orphaned and abandoned children and those with special needs as well as providing essential aid in times of disasters. The income from the 2010 campaign went towards the costs of providing a specialist disability centre in Kerala, India, for differently abled children. The centre opens summer 2011 and gives children the opportunity for learning tailored to their needs. Teacher training will also take place with some going to other parts of India to meet educational needs in communities with no specialist education.

EMMS International SC032327, works in partnership with communities in the poorest parts of the world, transforming lives and improving life chances through effective and sustainable health and education. Working with local Christian organisations, we support hospitals, primary healthcare, community health and schools. During 2011, this includes major improvements at Embangweni Hospital, Malawi, benefiting over 100,000 people.
Mission Aviation Fellowship SC039107 is a Christian agency flying more than 130 light aircraft to some of the most inhospitable and remote parts of over 30 developing countries. MAF supports mission and relief agencies and churches, meeting physical, spiritual and humanitarian needs of some of the most deprived people in the world.
Signpost International SCO38850 is a young, developing, inclusive, Christian organisation. Committed to supporting children and families at risk in some of the world’s poorest communities, it responds purely on the basis of need. Working with any aid organisation willing to support its aims, it helps people to learn the skills which will enable them to provide for themselves and their families.
